About Us
OUR HISTORY
Forsyth County Composite got its start back in 2017 as a small team of riders in Forsyth County looking to get involved in the NICA statewide race organization. FoCo Comp founders, Eddie and Dolores Montero set the infrastructure up for the collective team of riders around the county, raising funds through sponsorships and parent donations. The team quickly grew beyond a single county team as more high school riders joined, thereby spinning off 4 other county teams — Denmark, North Forsyth, East Forsyth and Central.
Today, FoCo Comp is a proud member in the Georgia Cycling Association collection of teams (East Conference). We are excited to see how the team is growing every year and watching youth cycling become a vibrant and positive sport in our area.

As coaches, we believe in the importance of both FUN and FITNESS! Cycling is both a team and an individual sport so the rewards of putting in effort to improve skills, fitness and navigating the world of competitive racing results in lifelong healthy physical and mental habits.

Be a Coach
Love to ride? Great! Share in the experience while mentoring a younger generation of riders. We'd love to have you join us out on the trails, or even in the parking lot as a team support coach.

As a team, we believe in family participation during the season. Get involved by signing up for race volunteer positions to help us create the best race day experience for all the riders!
